Soon I'll be two!

I've been so busy since I came home from the butterfly hospital!  I still like the butterflies, but I love being home! I am pretty scared of anyone I haven't seen in a while, and I am really scared of strangers! Mommy says it's ok but after that hospital, I'll decide for myself! So if you haven't seen much of me and I am scared of you it's because I'm scared you might give me a shot or put a NO NO on my arm!  I didn't like my NO NO! I don't ever want one of those again!

I just want Mommy and Daddy! Especially Daddy! He even came home for a few days and spent time at home with me and Mommy! I sure love my Daddy! When Daddy was home he was very sick and we had to take HIM to the doctor.  I didn't like that Daddy was sick, but I was glad it wasn't me getting a shot! He slept a lot and I made Mommy let me see that Daddy was in the bed! I just wanted to make sure! I wanted Daddy to hold me all the time when he was here! I even told Mommy NO and held on to Daddy! She understood that I still love her, but I just wanted my Daddy! I miss him so much! He was here and then gone again.  I thought he was back again because the bathroom light was on! I went to tell Mommy that Daddy was home, but she said he's at school! I didn't like that much.  I love him so much! He is at school again now and I just want him home! Whenever we go somewhere I hold on to my Mommy and don't want her to let me go!

Mommy and I went and visited her cou cou (cousin) yea that's what Mommy said! Cousin. He just got back from Af... Afff (Afghanistan) and his wife cooked spaghetti! YUM! It was good! Oh and since I got home food sure does taste yummy and is easy to swallow! So I eat all the time! My favorite new word is Eat! And I tell my Mommy, Eat Good Girl! I LOVE the stuff Mommy makes for me!  I even take big girl bites and chew them up and swallow them ALL GONE! So when we were at Brandon and Morgan's, Mommy, Morgan and I went to the party store! I didn't know what Mommy and Morgan were talking about, but I sure liked it when we got there! There were all kinds of neat hats and so many balloons! I tried on a pink hat and ran around with it on! Mommy bought stuff for my party! She said it's my birthday party! I hope my Daddy will come! Mommy is throwing me an animal party! My plates and cups and decorations are so pretty! They have cows, and chickens, and pigs on them! She even got me a pig balloon that is as big as me!  I hope my best friends Olivia and Mary come! I know my preemie besties won't be able to come because they live far away! We can wear pig, cow and chicken hats and run around and play! Mommy said we will eat cake! I LOVE CAKE! I hope there's cake! I don't know what my birthday is, but it must be pretty special! Because Mommy bought all kinds of stuff, the pig balloon AND THERE'S GONNA BE CAKE! Cake is SO YUMMY! After the party store we went back to Brandon and Morgan's house and I got to play with Brandon and the kitty Peanut! I got to feed Peanut treats! That was fun! I even gave Peanut a kiss, ok I gave Peanut a lot of kisses! When we left I gave Brandon and Morgan BIG HUGS! I like them!

Mommy has been taking me to play with Olivia a lot! I don't like it when Mommy leaves, but I like that I get to play with Olivia! She doesn't leave me there very long and I have fun! I want to go play with my lalayla (Dalana)! I haven't seen her in a little while! I think she's been busy! When I grow up I'm gonna be a big girl like lalayla! Mommy needs to call her and have her come play with me! She takes me outside and plays with me a lot! When I go to lalayla's house, I play with Natty! I love Natty!

I know I am forgetting something! Oh! That's right! My new favorite show is Calliou! I LOVE CALLIOU! He is a lot of fun to watch! I watch him and color! Today I colored on the carpet! Mommy told me not to and I did it anyway.  Then I got a time out AND had to clean up the marker! I didn't like time out, but cleaning is fun! I love cleaning! When Mommy cleans she gives me a rag too and I help! I also help with the laundry and cooking!  I am a big girl! I am such a big girl I can count! When Mommy says one, I say two! Mommy says I am going to be two on Sunday! She is trying to teach me to hold up my two fingers, but it is hard! I'll get it though cause I'm smart!

Surgery went well :)

Dr. Tylor just came out and said the surgery went very well.  That getting an IV in Lily was the hardest part.  Guess they had to try several places.  Glad she was out for that!  They'll be coming to get me very soon so I'll be there with her while she wakes up!

Lily is back for her surgery now.  They gave her some silly juice and she was VERY silly.  I'll come back on and post after she comes out and I have a moment.

I am in the waiting area now... they gave Lily some silly juice and I'll post pics and video as soon as I figure out how.  It was pretty funny!  Lily sure thought so! 

I'm just waiting and any moment they should come get me from the waiting area to be with Lily when she wakes up.  I'll post again when I can.

Nice Weather!

Since the weather is gonna get snowy and all that good yucky road stuff tonight, Mom and I are going to take Tito to Lalana's today and go stay in Nashville tonight!  She talked to Mitzi at the butterfly hospital and we can stay at a place somewhere close to there tonight!  Mom said we will go to the Opryland hotel and look around before we go to bed tonight.  She also said something about getting me some more stickers!  YES!  I LOVE STICKERS!  :-) 

Maybe there will be fun places to play there! If not, then I'll tell Mom we need to go see animals!  That's what I REALLY want to do.  Maybe that's where Shamooooo is!  Mom showed me Shamooooooo on the computer and I want to see Shamooooooooooo more than the other animals Mom and Daddy have been taking me to see!  They're neat and all, but that Shamooooo is WAY bigger and he looks so fun!  I clap and scream and everything when I watch him!  Anyways, we're going to Nashville and Mom's all nervous, but I'll be fine!  I'm tough and this stuff is really no big deal!

Surgery is on!

Today someone called Mom and told her that we have to be at the butterfly hospital Monday at SIX FORTY FIVE in the morning!  Mom said that's REALLY early!  That we have to leave home around FOUR in the morning, now THAT is early!  Because I don't even get up THAT early!  Mom is pretty worried about me having this surgery, but I'm tough and I'll do just fine!  :)

Visiting Daddy

The other day mom got me up when it was still dark out and put me in the car for a REALLY long time! She bought me a pancake and I LOVE to eat pancakes, but I didn't eat it.

After a really long time we were in Alabama and Mom stopped for a little bit.  There was a BIG HUGE rocket thing! Mom took my picture and let me run around!  I was glad because I was tired of being in the car!  I watched movies and was a very good girl but I needed to run around!

Mom told me we were going to see Daddy and so I was so excited I wouldn't go to sleep for a long time!  Even when I was REALLY tired!  After we were in the car all day long, I finally fell asleep about ten minutes before we got to Daddy's school!  Mom got me out of the car and took me to see my Daddy!  I could see him from far away and I got excited and smiled really big at MY DADDY!  He got in the car with us and drove a little bit and then we went to a restr.... restr.... a eating place.  There was a great big birdie (blue heron) in the parking lot!

When Daddy went to the bathroom I was playing in the booth and got my finger caught in between the seats and I screamed really loud!  Mom got my finger out and I wanted to cry so bad but this waitress lady came over and I bit my lip and turned my head!  I didn't want her to see me cry!

Then Daddy and Mom took me to THE BEACH!  I giggled and giggled!  It was so fun!  I really liked running around!  Then we went sleepy nite! nite! The next day we went to see animals!  Daddy said it was the zoo! I REALLY like the zoo!  There were so many animals and I got to feed them!  I fed a goat, and a zebra, and some fish, and a giraffe, and a bunny, and some chickens!  Daddy and Mom let me run all around and look at the animals!  There was even a place to play!  I love to slide!  I got REALLY mad at Daddy when he said it was time to go because I wanted to play!  But then Daddy and Mom took me in a store and I got to look at all of the toy animals and Daddy bought me a pig!  I LOVE pigs!

Then Daddy and Mom went to a place where they sell stuff and Mom pushed me in the stroller.  Daddy and Mom bought me some movies and let me ride on a little merry go round, and I got mad when the ride stopped!  Then Dad and Mom put me in the car again and we went to Pensacola Beach.  We walked on a big huge thing way up over the water (pier)!  I liked it but I DID NOT like walking where there were cracks and I could see down into the water!  It scared me so much!  Mom said I was petrified and Daddy said my equilibrium was off! All I know is I did NOT like that I could fall down in those cracks at any second!  Then we went to a place to eat and there was music and I danced around in my chair and sat in Daddy's lap and danced!  I had fruit and it was YUMMY!  I didn't eat any of the other stuff we had.  Just the fruit  :)  Then Daddy carried me out of the place and danced with me all the way to the car, swinging me around!  I love my Daddy!  He is so fun!  He even let me play with a kitty kitty in the parking lot while Mom got everything settled in the car!

The next day we went to eat AGAIN!  I ate some bread and a little bit of this or that.  I was just happy because I got to sit with Daddy and before we left I even got two balloons!  Then we went shopping!  Daddy and Mom got me some clothes and we got Dad and Mom some clothes and I got to ride on rides and even the carousel!  Then I took a nice, long nap and when I got up I played in the bed with Daddy and Mom.  Daddy asked me if I want to come stay at school with him.  Then after a while it was time to get in the car, AGAIN!  We drove to Daddy's school and Daddy told me he will see me soon!  I sure hope so!

Then Mommy and I left and I fell asleep.  I woke up when we got back to the condo and Mom wanted to go to bed but I was ready to PLAY!  I kept Mom up a while, then I let her sleep and I watched a movie in the bed with Mom!  The next morning Mom and I got up and ate fruit!  YUM! We got everything in the car and then Mom took me to the beach!  I ran around on the sand and went all the way to the water!  There was a fish by the water.  That was NEAT!  Mom and I found shells and then we walked back.  Mom rinsed my feet in really cold water.  Then we got in the car and drove a really long time until we were at Dalana's.  We got Tito, came home and I got to go to bed in my very own bed!

Next week Mom and I are going to Nashville (2/7) to the butterfly place for my surgery.  Keep me in your prayers!
